On February 25, 2023, Senne Boom participated in the last (4th) driving competition of the winter competition in Haaksbergen with her Shetlander Bella and the Hackney Stapleford Shake A Leg.
The day had a very cold start, rightly so a winter competition.
She also drove 2 dressage and 2 cones tests with both ponies at this competition.
Both dressage tests with Bella went according to plan. With an judging of resp. 175 and 179.5 points, a 1st place in the daily classification was achieved, but just no profit points (minimum 180 points).
The dressage tests with Stapleford Shake A Leg also went well. With the last dressage test, a score of 200 points was even achieved and therefore 2 profit points.
With Bella, Senne drove the first cones test flawlessly and (well) within time, the jump-off was also super fast. Unfortunately, a ball was dropped in that. Nevertheless, a first prize in the daily classification. The 2nd cones test with Bella also went quickly, but unfortunately a ball was thrown off. The result with Bella eventually resulted in 3 points in the skill.
With Stapleford Shake A Leg, Senne drove two clear rounds within the time limit and two clear jump-offs in the fastest times of the day. This resulted in 2x 1st place in the daily classification and 4 profit points.
After a cold start on this day, a warm result.
With these cones scores, both Bella and Stapleford Shake A Leg have gained 21 profit points in M cones tests and must from now on start in Z cones tests.
