On September 16, Gerard Horst, as a para driver, took part in a regular driving competition in Hellendoorn with the Hackney Stapleford Shake A Leg, 2x a dressage test and 2x a cones test.
There were too many sloppy things in the first dressage test, also because Shake A leg threw the tongue over the bit and a mistake in the course was made, resulting in a score of 164.5 points. Things went better in the second dressage test, although some figures could have been improved and the score was 183.5 points, which means one profit point.
The first cones test went smoothly, but with a considerable time overrun. The second cones test went faster, on time and without errors. The jump-off was also driven flawlessly and in a fast time. Result: 2 profit points and a first prize.
